Bavarian Forest Apartments

Haus Sterr *****

This is our most traditional house, with paintings on the walls of the stairs and mounted hunting trophies, lots of wood panelling on the walls, by the stairs and in the 2 larger apartments. The apartments were completely renovated in 2005 and have been updated regularly since then.

The apartments are spacious and each occupy one complete floor of the house.

Maria *****

Anton *****

• 1 bunk bed room
• From the sitting room there is a door to the shared large terrace

Arber *****

2nd floor
Sleeps up to 4 people.

• Central kitchen/dining room area
• Directly connected to the sitting room
• Shower room
• 1 double bedroom
• 1 twin bedroom
• A small balcony off the sitting with a direct view to the Arber mountain

Haus Peter *****

This is the most modern of our houses in style - although it is the same age as Haus Sterr (1950s). The house was fully renovated in 2006 and regularly updated since then. All the bathrooms have ensuite shower rooms, although this means that some of the bedrooms are not exactly spacious. Regen is the larger of the 2 apartments, with a much larger sitting room and the front balcony with room for 6 people to sit out and eat there. Sumava has a view from the front balcony is the best of all our houses - a panorama from beyond the Arber round to the Czech Republic.

The side balcony of each apartment overlooks the big cherry tree and the garden, which can be accessed only from the Regen apartment. The two apartments can be rented together by large families or groups of friends and the Regen apartment has an extended dining table, allowing everyone to eat together.

Haus Martin*****

This house has the appearance of a traditional mountain chalet although it is the newest of the houses. It was fully modernised in 2008/9 and regularly updated since then. The house has 4 one bedroom apartments - all apartments with fully fitted kitchens.

The house is at the very end of Waldschmidtstrasse, 5 minutes walk from the other houses. It has a natural garden and the house backs directly onto the Bavarian Forest National Park.
